Deli Nomads: the culinary heart of Floor Almere

Deli Nomads, founded by Rabia Kribbe and her husband Steven, is an Almere-based catering business that goes far beyond standard corporate sandwiches. From fresh lunches on the work floor to complete immersive catering at events.

Since 2024, Astrid Molema has strengthened the team as project manager. With a background in hospitality (eight years at Vermaat) and facility management, she brings exactly the combination Floor needs: an eye for detail, logistics expertise and a heart for hospitality. Striking detail: Astrid did an internship at Flevoziekenhuis in 2020, literally Floor's next-door neighbor. Now she's back in the neighborhood, this time on the other side of the street.

From Flevoland Business Woman to Floor's permanent partner

Rabia Kribbe is not just a caterer. Together with her husband Steven, she is building Deli Nomads into a household name in Almere and beyond. She was nominated in 2024 as Flevoland Business Woman in the SME category, and is also the founder of FEM-START, a platform that helps female entrepreneurs secure funding. Her vision of entrepreneurship, social, local, sustainable, aligns seamlessly with what Floor Almere stands for.

"It's not just about what you put on the plate," says Rabia. "It's about the atmosphere, the experience, the feeling people take home. If someone says after an event at Floor: that was special, then I've done my job."

What Deli Nomads does at Floor

The collaboration between Floor and Deli Nomads grew organically:

• Lunches: Fresh, seasonal lunches for tenants and flex members. Local and sustainable where possible.
• Drinks: The Friday afternoon borrel in Floor's Loungebar is hosted by Deli Nomads. With the famous Deli Nomads Fiets, a stylish cargo bike with drinks and bites.
• Event catering: Companies booking the event space are fully taken care of. From a strategic session with twenty colleagues to a jubilee dinner for eighty guests.
• Immersive catering: Pop-up dinners, themed evenings, and culinary experiences that explore the boundary between dinner and theater.

Local, circular, honest

What sets Deli Nomads apart is their choice for local and circular ingredients. That fits Floor's own sustainability ambition, think of the boardroom built entirely from recycled materials from Almere.

A networker at heart

Anyone who knows Rabia knows this: she brings people together. Not just at the table, but far beyond it. Her extensive network in the Almere business community makes her a natural connector between companies, organizations and initiatives in Floor's neighborhood. Whether it's an introduction to a potential tenant, a collaboration with a local supplier or simply connecting the right people, Rabia thinks proactively about these things.

The most tangible example is the partnership with Spotlezz. Rabia knew Thirza Mac Donald through the Netwerk Flevolandse Zakenvrouwen and was impressed by her vision for cleaning with a human touch. She brought Thirza's qualities to Floor's attention, and so a valuable new collaboration was born. Spotlezz now handles cleaning at Floor and has become a permanent partner in the community.

This is exactly what makes Deli Nomads more than a caterer. Rabia and her team strengthen the ecosystem around Floor, contributing to a workplace where entrepreneurs find each other, support one another and grow together.
